Lacrima di Treno

scendevano nello stomaco come pugni. In genere era

analizzato.

Il treno intanto proseguiva lento, a sussulti. Lo stomaco
gli bruciava e si fermò. Scesero i  Capitani con gli
stemmi colorati, tutti uguali e, urlavano, urtavano,

L'esperimento venne condotto su tre oggetti differenti:

"L'uovo e gli uomini in the Life of the Art", la quale

avevano impressionato: "Alcuni Capitani avevano
fatto scendere dei bambini magri e pallidi, altri capitani
avevano fatto scendere i loro genitori, altri ancora
picchiarono i bambini, altri Capitani avevano fucilato i

TEARS OF THE TRAIN

Do not imagine a train and not even anything else …
(in any case the train left ).
Some German researchers of the 14th post-industrial era,
who fed only on carrots, arrived by mere chance
to discover that even the trains were able to weep.

The train climbed slowly, slowly, slowly: that day he did not like
the assigned load. There was such a sadness inside
his coaches that, on his walls, some strange folds and wrinkles
began to take shape.

Professor Al Est Sorgis, teacher in the department of philosophy
at the University of Brist, was the first to realize that some
objects produced by man were able to weep and
to suffer: a porcelain object on his writing-desk
broke after the announcement on the radio
of the ascent to power of “D”. The professor who
presented his hypotheses to his students,
was dismissed, he lost his job
and was sent to prison.

The train began to feel cold, and the surly workman
made him swallow unpleasant shovelfuls of coal which
went down his stomach like fists. Usually he was
greedy for that coal, and he used to eat some of it burning with happiness, above all, when he carried the children on an excursion.
But this time it was not an excursion, it was not
a holiday journey, it was not a game.

Subsequent researches carried out by an assistant of professor
Sorgis and by his young wife confirmed these theses,
in particular owing to an article published
on the pages of Mini-Chronicles, where a hunter reported
the refusal of his rifle to fire, after this same rifle
had been used for the execution of Federico Garcia
Lorca: though all parts were in perfect order,
it jammed when it was aimed at the partridges.
The rifle was brought to the university laboratory to be
examined.

Meanwhile the train jerked along slowly. His stomach
was smarting and so he stopped. Officers came down
wearing uniforms with medals and ribbons.
They all looked alike shouting, bumping,
cursing, obeying, coming up again, giggling and
asking the engine-driver who was weeping.
All the gears were inspected but nothing strange was found out,
except for the sheets of the motor-coach which,
on one side, had become as soft as wet paper.

After she had read the results of many researches on the sufferings of the objects and the matter, Professor Angela made a discovery which marked a new epoch. She found out that an object left in solitude and unused, or left in company with evil cunning fellows was subject to deteriorate and to get old faster. The experiment was carried out on three different objects:
1) a flat left empty by rich owners, who did not need to occupy it and who did not allow other people to get in.
2) a kitchen-garden full of any kind of vegetables, cabbages,
tomatoes, etc…, abandoned, because its owner did not want anybody
to pick anything.
3) a deposit of money and
large bank-notes, losing its value day after day owing to its owners’ lack of care and that the owners couldn't enjoy nor spend on something alive or healthy, before they died.

The train wept secretly because he heard groans coming from its coaches  and its tears wet so much its left sheet that
it got detached and melted. The first railway mechanic
denounced the fact to the famous officers. They met
and tried to look for a solution in their rage, in
their revolvers, and in the handbook of “The Biggest Wicked Men”.
But they did not find one and shouted again
and they got angry with the weeping engine-driver.

A team of the Massachusetts University, led by
the Eminent Professor Elbertins, carried out a series of hypothetical experiments. He realized that an egg forgotten by a student in the refrigerator of the College had become sterile. There was
a discussion on that, as some people maintained that the egg was not
an object, some others said that it was nearly an object, while somebody
else was sure that only its shell was the object.
A congress was held and Philosophers, Mathematicians,
Artists and Biologists took part in it. The records of it were published in the magazine “The egg and the men in the Life and Art”, which
was soon out of print. A second and a
third edition were printed.

The train had been stopping for some hours, and he took advantage of that time to write down in his travel notebook about the events which had affected him that night and that dawn: “some officers had made
some thin pale children get down, other officers
had made their parents get down as well, and while the children were
beaten, their parents were shot by other officers”.

The train’s eye had swollen and the tears
had become a continual trickle, and the wind-screen
had stopped breaking down.

entraran;
tomates, etc…, pero donde el proprietario no quería que nadie las cosechara;
